The newly formed Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound (AEMUS) Exam Committee will focus its activity on creating the exams for the AEMUS Focused Practice Designation. The Committee met for the first time at ABEM headquarters March 2-3. Committee members participated in an orientation session, business meeting, and item writing training. The Committee is chaired by ABEM Director John L. Kendall, M.D.; Senior Director Terry Kowalenko, M.D., will serve as exam editor.
